Its All or Nothing

Why is it that we find comfort in hiding behind the shadows and never truly exposing ourselves to the world around us?  We have been given this opportunity to live for something greater than ourselves, to live for a God that has placed us before his own.  That in itself, should have us on the streets, telling everyone we come in contact with, the amazing truth of a selfless King.  But what do we do instead?  Nothing.

The time has come to stand for what we believe in, the very existence of who we are depends on this. Its all or nothing.  Is there an appropriate, non-confronting way? Is there even a wrong or right way?  Honestly, who cares.  If we truly believed in this, and put God first and what He has called us to do, no one could get us to shut up about it.

There is one thing that stands in the way.  Ourselves.  It’s not about what we’ve made it, or what we desire to gain from it.  It’s about denying your self and allowing God to radiate through you to this world.

There is a love beyond all reason, beyond anything that we can wrap our minds around.  The only thing that we can do is allow our hearts to overflow with this love.  The love that has no pretenses, the love that expects nothing in return, the love that places others first.
We are wasting our lives away if we are not living for Him, and if we aren’t living for Him we’re not even truly living.  He is all we have, and nothing compares to the love we have in Him.  He believes in us, and that is more than anyone could ever ask for.

You are all I have, so I’ll give You all I have and all that I am.  I live for you alone, because without you, I am nothing.
